À Québec pour le travail; mon organisation organise un événement pour 550 personnes. Le soir venu je n’ai qu’une idée en tête pouvoir manger (loin du buffet qui nous est offert) un bon repas tranquille. Quand nous sommes arrivées au restaurant là proprio (je pense qu’elle l’était) verrouillait la porte. Quand elle a vu que nous avions l’intention de manger dans son Resto elle nous a chaleureusement invité à l’intérieur. Nous avons donc eu le Resto à nous 2, merci la tranquillité! Le Resto est joli: mur de brique, photo d’époque probablement capturée en Italie, lumière tamisée. J’ai pris les polpettes de veau en sauce champignons et servi sur des pâtes au beurre. C’était délicieux! Nous avons partagé une bouteille de pinot noir italien, sans être un grand vin c’était quand même bien bon, surtout à 26 $ la bouteille. Le service était super: rapide, chaleureux et conviviale. Une adresse à revisiter quand je reviendrai à Québec!

Just happened to walk by this restaurant, which is located on a side street, in the upper town of Quebec City. We decided to try our luck one Saturday night, even though we didn’t have reservations and restaurant looked full, and were told they would accommodate us. Ten minutes later we were seated at a quaint table for 2. Everything on the menu sounded delicious. We got to meet the lovely owner of the restaurant, Rosetta who told us her and her Italian family own the restaurant and run it. We had the Cesare salad and arancini as appetizers, and both were absolutely delicious. As a main course we had spaghetti al pomodoro and veal piccata al limone. The spaghetti was a taste of Italy (I’m Italian) and the veal was so flavourful and it melted in your mouth, both fantastic. We had a decently priced bottle of good wine and ended our meal with a crème caramel, espresso and a shot of sambucca, which was the perfect ending to an absolutely wonderful evening. All staff were amazing, friendly and attentive. Definitely would give this restaurant a 5+ if I could. We very highly recommend!

Une belle découverte à Québec. Bön restaurant italien avec une belle ambiance. La musique est discrète et bien choisie. Le menu, typiquement italien avec une belle diversité et beaucoup de choix. La carte des vins est très complète aussi. J’ai pris une entrée d’aubergines gratinées. Belle portion, gouteuse, bien relevée. Le duo de pâtes (sauce arriabiata et sauce saumon fumé) était délicieux. Des belles pâtes fraîches, légères, avec des sauces bien assaisonnées. C’était excellent !
La seule ombré est le service. Il est rapide, complet, mais les serveurs né font que leur travail. L’expérience du service est correcte, sans plus. Un relationnel plus fort avec des sourires seraient agréables ! C’est bien mineur compte tenu de la qualité de restaurant. Il vaut le détour !

Tho the two reviews here were old, we went anyway bc it was a block from our airbnb. It was a wonderful dining experience! White tablecloths, soothing background music, waitstaff dressed in black — classy but not stuffy. Waitress spoke English, offered us English menus (we found QC to be VERY French).
Food was about the best we’ve had in Canada. My salmon Grenobloise was tender and moist, and the seasoning was terrific. My wife’s veal dish was likewise mouth-watering. AND the veggies were delicious — not an afterthot or plate-fillers. Bread consisted of sliced baguette, not dinner rolls. Water glasses were continually filled. They even lighted the little candle without being asked: they tended to the details that set top restos apart.
Wines by the glass were good, not great. Ditto the apple pie. But cappuccino was great. I would give them 4.5 stars but 5 is fine. We would happily go back!

Ça fessait longtemps qu’on était pas sorti d’un restaurant en se disant: «Wow quel belle soirée!». L’ambiance, la musique, l’éclairage, mais surtout un merveilleux repas, savoureux et plein de surprise. La première fois que je mange des escalopes de veau aussi tendre et des entrées aussi surprenantes! Un petit restaurant italien où l’on a l’impression d’être servi par une même famille tellement que le service est bien coordonné!
