I came across this place by coincidence and I am glad that I found it. The ice cream (especially the chocolate dipped) is excellent. The petit size itself is quite huge. I am a big guy and couldn’t eat everything. The servers ask you if you want to try out the various flavours. It’s a nice sweet place that you will enjoy. Try out the coffee flavoured dip

Wonderful selection of chocolate goodies like fondue and ice creams. Had the black forrest and regular hot chocolates with whipped cream. Amazing! Great attentive service as well. Helped us pick out our goodies and spoke perfect English.

Dipping soft ice cream was really good. Love the process of melting dark chocolate becoming crispy outside. The mini size was enough for me because it was a little too sweet. My friend chose the dark chocolate with nuts which tastes even better than the original one. The soft ice cream have three flavors, vanilla, strawberry and orange. I found one stick named chocolate but seem not ready to be served. They also sold gelato and sundae. Oh, almost forgot their truffle chocolate and signature is chocolate cream. A good place located in new Quebec city worth to visit for chocolate lovers.

Fun place to take the family. Hard to argue with 12 different soft serve ice cream coatings — if i were here longer i would try a different one every day. Tried the chocolate orange which was a bit too sweet, but did have a good orange flavor. Maybe next time will try the classic dark chocolate dip.
Theres also a chocolate soft serve ice cream, which should pair nicely with the white chocolate dips. Another bonus is they sell chocolate bars and other chocolate/​candy gifts.
This is a happening place full of younger folks during late night hours (9−10pm or so)

J’aime le chocolat, j’aime les glaces … Il n’en fallait pas plus pour me convaincre ! Ok, ce n’était pas une première pour moi parce que j’ai eu la chance de découvrir ce bijou de la gastronomie (;)) l’été dernier sur l’Île d’Orléans (et j’avais déjà trouvé ca tellement délicieux !). Mais comme j’ai beaucoup beaucoup beaucoup entendu parler de Chocolat Favoris il fallait absolument que je teste ! Il y en a un pas très loin de chez moi, mais prendre le bus exprès pour m’y rendre je n’en ai jamais trop trouvé l’envie. Alors quand j’ai appris que l’une de leurs succursales ouvrait sur Cartier je me suis dit que là c’était le bon plan … Et en effet, comme j’y suis allée pour une autre divinité de la gastronomie (les sushis) j’y ai vu une sacrée belle opportunité de goûter enfin à ces glaces molles qui me donnaient tant envie… Le dessert idéal de par une si belle journée ensoleillée !
Je suis restée classique: glacé molle vanille et enrobage chocolat noisette. Et évidemment je n’ai pas été déçue. Déjà, je n’avais jamais mis les pieds dans une de leur succursale et je dois dire que je trouve le décor trop mignon ! Je me suis cru dans Charlie et la Chocolaterie et j’ai adoré ca, retour en enfance assuré ! Et je dois dire, que je trouve les prix vraiment très corrects. D’autant plus que les proportions sont généreuses. Je m’étais dirigée vers une taille «petite» mais elle était déjà bien assez grosse, pour moi, ca aurait plutôt été une «moyenne», mais j’oublie souvent qu’en Amérique, les portions sont toujours assez généreuses par rapport à la France !
Clairement, Chocolat Favoris confirme encore plus le fait que la rue Cartier fait partie d’un des mes endroits préférés de Québec.
