History

Established in 2004.

This business has been a destination for Powell River to find the finest Bedroom/​Bathroom supplies for the past 9 years. Originally called Hill Imports & Designs, Linda Whiteley bought the existing store off the original owner and has since increased the stock and lines carried.

Beyond The Bed moved to the Town Centre Mall in 2011 to afford more space for inventory and an easier location and lots of parking.

We welcome all to visit us, where you will find eager, willing & friendly staff who are very knowledgeable to help you with your purchases and home décor choices.

Business Owner

Originally from England; Linda moved to Canada in 1988. She continued her profession here as a Certified Dental Assistant and Office Manager for many years.

Since 2003 she has lived in the picturesque town of Powell River, and loves the small community spirit here.

In 2006 an opportunity came up to purchase a home décor store; and she jumped in with both feet! ‘it was the best decision of her life, and has never looked back.
