History

Established in 2005.

META4 Contemporary Craft Gallery is owned and operated by three local artists, Jennifer Hardie, Bonnie Thomson & Birgitta MacLeod. The first six months were spent down the road a stretch, but we ran out of room! So here we are at 200 Queen Street, where our roster of artists continues to grow.

The studio is at the rear of the gallery, where the creative vibe takes root and just spreads like crazy.

We now offer outreach activities to school and community groups and if there’s anything fun going on in town (street festivals, arts galas, something cool) you can usually find us in the thick of it.

Business Owner

Jen, Bonnie & Birgitta are the co-​owners of META4. Jen is a sculptor and accessories designer, Bonnie is a glass artist and stone sculptor and Birgitta is a painter and mixed media aficionado. Come in and introduce yourself; one of us is here almost every day.
