Grim’s Gym is a little tough to find. It’s situated in a warehouse on Spring Street behind the main street of Port Moody, St. John Avenue. The place is huge. They turned a massive warehouse into a workout mecca. There is a massive gym space filled with free weights and machines. In the back o the main floor, they have a whole section for legs. In the front when you first walk in, there is a big section of cardio machines. They have a big screen TV to watch as you do your workout.
The gym is fully secure as well. You have to use a key card to enter the fitness area. The locker rooms are fully secure with a shower and private washroom facilities.
There is an upstairs section that divides into an ab and stretch area. There is a full boxing area and dance/​aerobics/​yoga area too. Also, behind closed doors is a woman’s only section. I personally don’t know what’s in there, but I bet it’s hot! Sorry…
They hve good kids working at the front desk who will cook you an after workout meal or make you a shake. Good place to train. Check it out as a member or a drop in for $ 5.
