Excellent! I can’t say enough positive things about this restaurant. The food is spectacular, the service is warm and prompt, and they really try to make every dish to your liking. It is a little gem of a place right on saint johns in Port Moody. The perfect place for a romantic dinner. Fine dining at its best.

Bad food. Bad service. I went there thinking it in as going to be a nice, fine dining experience. It most certainly was not. The food was undercooked and the owner was extremely arrogant and rude. Would never go there again. There are many nice restaurants around. This one should be closed.

The ambiance and kitschiness of this restaurant is wonderful. The food is excellent. We had the crab cakes and Caesar salad to start followed by the short ribs and lamb shank. It was a lot of food and we had to pack it to go. The wine list is decent and reasonably priced. This will be a «go to» restaurant for us in Port Moody.

One of our favourite places. The food is fabulous, the staff are excellent and ever the same faces, and the atmosphere is unique and intimate. Highly recommend.

I’ve been here a couple of time now. Every visit was memorable. My last visit was with my gf for a special occasion. She suffers from numerous food allergies so we phoned ahead to make sure she would be able to eat something. To our surprise they told us she could order anything on the menu she wanted and if it did have something she couldn’t have in it that they would make it to order with her special allergy requirements. WOW! This is a first. It was a little overwhelming as she has never been able to order freely from a menu before. Our meals were some of the best bites we’ve ever taken. The service was amazing. I just can’t say enough about this place. The décor is eclectic. Your eyes constantly wonder all over the place trying to see every unique item on display. We will be back for every special occasion from now on. It would be more often but it is very expensive but worth every penny. We’ll be saving our pennies until our next visit.

LOVELOVELOVE this place! We discovered this place when we were out for a walk one evening a couple of years back and it is hands down our favourite place to go. First off, the décor is wonderful. It’s just quirky and whimsical enough to be truly memorable and you kind of feel like you’re in the attic of a great antique shop or something. The tables feel intimate and cozy but there is also a lot of space for larger groups. The service is outstanding. We have never been even the slightest bit unhappy with it. The servers are friendly, engaging and just plain likable and they all know the menu very well. And the food? Amazing. Everything there is prepared very well and they knock it out of the park every single time. I usually stick with the crab cakes to start, the gnocchi as a main and the crème brule as desert. The husband changes things up each time and he’s always pleased with his meal too. This is where we go for date nights and this is where we bring our favourite people. They also send us coupons on our birthdays and on our anniversary which is really thoughtful of them and appreciated by us.

My hubby and I went here for dinner tonight and we were thoroughly impressed. Started with a couple glasses of the Rissling house wine and waited for our appies to arrive. We sat out on the patio, restaurant was fairly busy. We shared the mango curry prawns & had the tuna carpaccio. I would recommend the Prawns as they are fantastic. For dinner we both had the Prawn & Bay Scallop pasta dish which was mouth watering to the last bit. That dish I will be returning to have. I would also like to try the seafood hot pot another time. We had the blueberry cheese cake for dessert, was not too sweet but finished every last drop. Great service, the bill was reasonable and location was fairly convenient. If you want to entertain a large group, this would be a great place to arrange a fixed menu.

«You guys kicked ass!» That’s my quote after a three restaurant tour, with a trolley bus providing transportation, in support of the local hospital. I didnt realize until we were well underway that each restaurant had donated all of the food, making it a big fundraiser, and a huge success The highlight was St Street Grill — first an amazing appetizer plate with a scallop, a vegetable wrapped assortment wrapped up, and the best tuna tartare ever! We contineud on through the other restaurants and returned for dessert — it was as if they wanted each and every one of us to HAVE to return for more! A large soft layer on the bottom, topped with spun sugar, justting out,(think crème brûlée for torched sugar) and then topped with two round balls, one on top of the other — visually gorgeous, and it tasted every bit as good as it looked! Once again, head and shoulders above the rest of the class in Port Moody, and really for miles and miles around! Ive been popping by for years and years, and each time its like re-finding a new friend — one that I LOVED and didnt realize how much I MISSED! Just a great place, great staff, artful, interesting cooking, a warm, cozy atmosphere — NEVER a bad moment, let alone a bad meal! Go There!

Nothing felt more calming than falling into a large leather chair for dinner after nonstop rainy weather. I like the warm atmosphere of the restaurant, and the staff make it even warmer. I ordered goat cheese cakes and duck with rissotto, all of it was great. Pricey food, but worth it when you’re traveling for business :)

Décor could use an update… food is yummy. Always enjoy my meals and well worth a stop by once in a while if you’re into spending a little more for a little less of a portion but always big on flavour.

Such a cute place in the heart of Port Moody! A cozy warm brick interior, candlelight, random frames, plus famous paintings makes this place unique. With multiple areas, this would be a great place to host a large group. We were seated right by the window tucked in a corner, a large table for two. You could call this place fancy, but it has that genuine feel where it’s also casual and relaxed. There are lots of choices on the menu, with a good mix and seafood and meats, as well a small selection of pastas. Certain plates lean towards a French style preperation. I got a grilled AAA ribeye, done medium, and the boy got a pork tenderloin schnitzel. These came in large plates, with a generous serving of veggies(bok choy, broccolini, asparagus, and beets!) My steak was absolutely delicious. A light herb rub and a red wine demi completed the dish. The meat was cooked just perfect to my liking. This also came with oven roasted potato wedges. Got to try some of the schnitzel, and the mushroom demi cream on it was rich and flavourful. Then the finale: a great selection of daily desserts, from crème brûlée to hazelnut cheesecake. We got a sticky toffee pudding to share. The pudding was spongy, and absorbed all of the caramel sauce’s goodness. A scoop of vanilla ice cream made it even better. Servers were extra friendly, and there were minimal interruptions. As a result, our meal turned into a great experience. An eclectic atmosphere with fantastic food and great service, I’ll definitely be back.

The food was alright. I thought it was a little bit overpriced. I can only give a 3 star.

Maybe we just hit a wrong day; given the other positive reviews our experience was surprising. This was the choice for a birthday dinner for my girlfriend being close and well reviewed. We arrived around 6:45 and there was no one at the door for greeting or seating. Not unusual in smaller establishments BUT waiting for a good 10 minutes for someone to show up is. There were 3 tables sat at the restaurant so i can’t say the hostess/waitress was busy. However, she seemed to know a lot of the people that came in by name. Why people would regularly come i have no idea since the menu selection was basically 8 entrees, 2 soups, 4 pasta dishes and 6 or 7 appetizers. We are sat at a nice table, décor is a little out of date but adds to it’s charm. What didn’t were the bugs flying around and the food stuck to the wall. Fine, can’t help bugs much but there seemed to be disproportional a lot compared to other restaurants. Bread was excellent, however no refills and the plates/bread basket managed to stay on our small table for the duration of our stay despite the fact it was finished long before we received our entrée’s. Speaking of entrees, portions are very small. not usual when receiving quality food but the steak was not quality. Normal portion(think Keg size), ordered medium well but came 50% well done, 35% medium well and 15% charred; charred enough that the serrated knife had difficulty cutting through the outer layer. Veggies were well done though, quite tasty but not enough to make up for the steak. My girlfriend enjoyed her veggies as well, said the halibut was decent but the portions were fairly small(about one inch wide by 4 inches long). Unless you are ordering appetizers and/or desert expect to leave hungry. Water was refilled once in our hour long stay and sat empty for 20 minutes before said refill came. Bill took another 15 minutes to come after we were finished dinner. I’m all for a relaxed and slow paced atmosphere but it seemed that the few tables they had were overwhelming and they just couldn’t keep up. As much as i hate to say it, when i’m spending 70 dollars on two entrees before tip i expect the waitress to be attentive to our basic needs(water, taking used dishes away etc). All in, i’m sure the food can be good at times but based on my first experience here i would go elsewhere on my next outing.

We went there for dinner. Food is great. Their last reservation time is 8:30pm during week day and 930pm for weekend. Once you go in, they will let u sit as long as u like. The server serves with pleasant smile. The red ambience light is a bit strange to me. However it does give the store a mystery feeling while eating there. I would say it’s 4.5 star. Five star if the price is a bit lower. Average dinner entry is around $ 25 to $ 30. Pasta dinner entry is around $ 18. Appetizers are around $ 10 each. The place is more suitable for 2 ~ 4 people group. Our party of 9 people is kind of weird eating in this place. Over all, satisfactory. Too bad there is no burger available for dinner time. Would love to try out their burgers since it’s so recommended by other reviewers.

I was driving home through Port Moody on a weekday and I was thinking I should get a quick bite to eat. Thanks to Unilocal it pointed me right to this little gem. When I arrived I was a little hesitant as the environment was more formal than I was expecting and the place was empty. Despite looking like a slob I bit the bullet and gave it a try. I ordered the Saint St Burger for $ 13 and all I can say is wow! This is their description of the burger from their website: «House-made triple-A beef burger served on focaccia bread with bacon, mushrooms, shaved asiago, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and dijon aioli, served with soup or salad» I know Burgers and I know them well. I spent a couple years trying to perfect the best burger but what I was served put all of my work to shame. The meat was seasoned perfectly, the focaccia was a surprisingly good match and all the ingredients worked very well together. All for $ 13? This is a steal! It even came with a soup of the day which in my opinion was worth that price alone. Now I’ve only had their burger and soup for lunch, perhaps my review could change but I’m definitely going to try this place out for dinner.

I love this place. I’ve been here for lunch, Christmas parties, romantic dinners, family dinners, special occasion dinners, and they have never disappointed. The grilled ceasar salad is the stuff dreams are made of and the entrees are reliably exceptional. I’m not a big dessert eater but this is one place I will make an exception. The décor is a blast; very comfortable, eclectic, with interesting discoveries to be made each visit. If you’re looking for excellent food in a comfortable atmosphere with professional staff, you’ve found your place.
