The Ross Funeral Chapel has during my lifetime seen many family members and friends pass through it. My family is rooted in Port Hope, with extended family throughout southern Ontario and the world.
As with all things Port Hope, the Ross Funeral Chapel’s staff and amenities exude a quiet grace that is quite in keeping with the sleepy lakeside town in which it is set. During hard times the considerate and empathetic staff exemplify what their profession strives to provide mourning family and friends.
Many thanks to the people at Ross for keeping true to the traditions, sentiments and culture of the town in which they are set. Even for those of us returning from abroad for sad events, it made us feel like we were all coming home.
