Swiss Chalet Rotisserie & Grill

Service is good, just really not a fan of the food. You have to order a side of sauce or something because otherwise the chicken can be dry.

My husband and two daughters went out for a rare meal out, a treat we don’t often allow ourselves. I’ve always loved Swiss Chalet and was looking forward to a nice meal and pleasant dining experience. It was busy, 8 om on a Friday evening so we weren’t expecting top speed service but we were disappointed with pretty much everything. Took 10 min to get seated (acceptable, considering how busy they were) but it went downhill from there. Slow to get a server to come by to greet us and get drink orders. When she did she was clearly rushed and a bit frazzled. Also understandable as it appeared that management didn’t have enough staff working. She was pleasant (which is the reason for one of the stars) but she rushed us through our order, food and drinks all at once and nearly forgot to take my order. But then we waited 20 MINUTES for the drinks!!! Our food finally came, 55 minutes after we ordered. The fries were cold, as was one of the burgers. Clearly been under the heat lamp. The salad my husband ordered didn’t come (which the server fixed rather promptly) and my food was probably the freshest/​hottest of the bunch (second star) but overall a big disappointing dining experience. I’ll stick to buying the dipping sauce in a package and fixing «swiss chalet chicken» at home from now on.

We’ve been to this location twice and have been very satisfied with the food and service. Love the newness of the place. Both times I upgraded my fries to poutine and actually got a more than respectable quantity.

Terrific place. Both Swiss chalet and Harvey’s are at this location. This location is friendly, quick with food and it’s always hot and fresh. One of the better ones.

I just joined Unilocal and was looking through all the restaurants and came across the poco Swiss chalet.
I do not recommend going to this location, clearly management does not know how to train their staff properly…
My boyfriend and I waited at the front for a long time before anyone noticed we were there, after being sceptical about pursuing our dining experience we gave it a chance. After the host finally sat us we then began to wait an additional wait for a server to greet us. Once 1 server finally came up to us and got our drink order (waters) she left and 20 seconds later another came and asked again… Poor knowledge of sections apparently. We both decides to just get up and leave after that confusion and the long wait.
I gave it anther chance with a friend and her mom about a month after. There was no wait to be sat but there was clearly short staffed for servers. Monday night about 7 and there were2 servers on. We could tell that we were in a servers section who was currently grabbing drinks for a larger party. So I did not mind the wait because that’s understandable. But after I watched this server go back and forth to that one table at least 3 times I started to get impatient. My friend waved down the host for some drinks because she could not take the wait any longer. Once the waitress came over she was rude and old. Not the way you wanna be as a server. She got my order wrong and never came back to check on us or to refill our waters. I physically got up and grabbed the water jug a table away to fill up our waters.
We all left upset so I decided to tell my experience to the owner on their «tell us about us» online at the bottom of the receipt. After writing a long essay about my experiences all I got back for a reply was «sorry about your inconvenience»
How not professional, a good owner would make sure a guest wants to return or has to by giving them a gift card or a sincere apology.
Will never return here.

I absolutely love going to Swiss Chalet. The food is delicious, servers are the best and the food comes to your table quickly. I go every week with a friend. Yes I order the same thing, but I love my ¼ chicken, white, with a side salad, multi-​grain bun and a baked potato. I feel at home at the restaurant and enjoy chatting with the servers. My friend and I have been going at least 3 times a month for the last year. If I don’t update my status on FB on Sundays saying I am at Swiss Chalet, people are asking me on FB why I am not there. I have, on 2 occasions, posted that I was going by myself and I’ve had friends join up to meet me there. This is the best location of Swiss Chalet to go to! My friend drives from Delta to join me at this specific location. Worth the drive!!!

Went here the other day and had excellent service from the hostess to the waiter. The food was good and the service was fast. This is a great place for a family dinner of all ages. Ribs and chicken!
