We’ve been enjoying Solavs for over a decade. We were very sad when he closed his Metrotown location and moved to Joyce Station. Shortly after opening he closed down that location. Now located in Poco I am glad he’s back cooking his famous dishes again. Poco is very fortunate to have an affordable tasty place to have souvlaki that rivals many expensive Greek restaurants. Great portions that are tasty and affordable. Great to see.

Everything about meal was delicious and fresh. Even down to the hot pepper on the side. Yum! Authentic Mediterranean tzaziki, a salad that was actually a salad and not a tomato on a piece of lettuce, perfectly seasoned and cooked souvlaki chicken, and the rice and potatoes were divine. The type of place where almost all of your plate is gone before you remember there was a chicken skewer on there.

I work nearby, but this is one of my lunch go-​to place. Their meat is nice and fresh, well seasoned and there’s a nice selection of what you get to put into your donair. Owners are very nice people. Restaurant is nice and clean and bright. Prices are decent.

Fresh delicious chicken souvlaki pita wraps made by the owner himself. Great for a quick Friday night grab and go. There is a lack of decent restaurants in Port Coquitlam so I’m glad to have this here. The restaurant is kept well and more importantly clean! The prices are a little expensive for the area and they are closed on Sunday’s which is a disappointment. Worth checking out if your looking for some quick good Mediterranean food.
