History

Established in 1992.

Just Fine Wine first opened its doors for business on Port Coquitlam’s Kingsway Avenue in 1992. Eight years later the shop moved to a new, improved and much larger location just a few blocks east on Kingsway. In 2001, long-​time PoCo residents Doug and Leslie Webb purchased the business, bringing stability and a renewed commitment to excellence. The team quickly achieved their objective of providing a clean, professional and trustworthy winemaking facility that offers the finest products and services available. Integrity, cleanliness, superior products, incomparable service and, most importantly, complete customer satisfaction are the foundation that Just Fine Wine has been built upon. These ideals continue to be pursued each and every day so their clients/​friends can enjoy an unparalleled winemaking experience.

In 2008, son Jamie Webb joined the team on a full-​time basis, making Just Fine Wine truly a family business and ensuring another generation of top quality winemaking.

Business Owner

Leslie’s background includes 20 years in project management, dealing with multi-​million dollar contracts. These achievements prepared Leslie well for the challenges of running her own business. Since 2001, she has co-​owned and managed Just Fine Wine. She has developed a great knack for matching people up with wine and making friends with everyone who comes through the door.

Not only does he have a 30-​year background as a Print Shop Foreman under his belt, Doug also has a long line of experience in small business. Owner and operator of Burnaby Video Shop, he was one of the local pioneers in the early days of home video rental. In 2001, he became co-​owner and manager of Just Fine Wine. Doug has also served as Master Vintner over that period

A graduate of SFU’s Communication program, Jamie spent over ten years in the broadcasting industry working for the likes of 97KISS FM, CKWX News1130, Vancouver Television and CTV. Jamie became a full-​time partner with Just Fine Wine in April 2008.
