I have had two computer worked on by this company.
I have been very pleased with their work.
I took one in that was not letting me go on the internet.
I was given a price and told that if it was going to be more than they quoted I would be called.
A few days later I got a call that it was ready.
Took it home and was able to get on the internet again.
Everyone in our home was connected again.
The second one was very slow and took forever going to some websites.
This time a fellow from behind the counter took the computer to a shelf on the side, connected the wires and I showed him what was happening.
He said it probably had a virus or something.
He said it would take a few days to fix because they were very busy.
When I got a call from them, that it was ready, I was told that they added a free program to help stop some stuff from getting on the computer.
When I got it home it was just like new.
I would recommend this company.

Been helped by DC hospital a few times over the 15 years they have been around ., knowledgable staff good turn around and great selection of parts and accessories.

This is the worst place I could have taken my computer. I took it in full of viruses and told them my itunes was not working. I get it back a WEEK later and it is still REALLY slow. Try to get on to itunes. No luck. Called them and the guy who worked on it went for lunch and would call me back. Did not. Called again on Monday and was told to bring it back in. Wednesday I have to call AGAIN to follow up and the guy says oh now I have a video card failure (what that has to do with itunes I don’t know) and he has one he can sell me cheap. I said no it will be free as you said my computer was fixed after I paid you $ 100 the first time. Now it’s not ready till Saturday. I pick it up and a different guy is there. I ask him to try the itunes in front of me. It took 10 plus minutes for my computer to boot and another 15 for the itunes to load. Guy sayds «lady you have to be patient». Really, it never took anywhere near this long before. It FINALLY comes up. I told him it doesn’t do that at home and he says «Well I cant help what happens at your house — not my fault.» Great customer service. Also the the old hippie dude is very combative with customers. Anyway guys says your computer is good as new. No problems now. i ask what is the best type of virus protection and am told — none really — not to bother as the viruses just get around it anyway. Or do you just want to me to bring in my computer all the time. What computer tech tells you not to have virus protection???
I get it home and it takes forever to boot up and the the CPU makes this continual clicking noise that it never made before. I call them and they say I must thave hit it somewhere on the way home — um no. They say it’s ok. Still takes FOREVER to boot up and load itunes — it used to come right up. Then one day the next week I get the blue screen of death and a message saying «hard drive failure is imminent». Very suspicious when I was told my computer was fine. I won’t bother calling them — probably say not their fault. DO NOT ever go here, they have NO CLUE about computers and TERRIBLE customer service.

Having bought a so-​so system from DC a couple of years ago for the kids and used their services for minor things in the past, I was very disappointed, and p-o’d at what they attempted the last time I was there. I took in an HP netbook, because it had gotten flaky, wouldn’t boot up, stalled out, generally became unuseable. I was charged $ 60 for an analysis of what was wrong. Okay, fair enough. I was told the hard drive was bad and «RAM needs work.» I was told I needed to replace the hard drive and re-​install windows, set up all drivers and updates, anti-​virus, etc. As the price was in the $ 300 range I decided to have another look at it myself. I took it home and the diagnostics on the computer could not find any bad sectors on the hard drive. I ran the AVG anti-​virus program on it, which found a trojan virus, which it removed. I then took a lot of stuff off the hard drive by going into DOS, then did a system recovery (the OS is Windows 7.) When it was all done and it had re-​installed Windows, or fixed Windows, whatever it does, everything worked fine. Nothing wrong. The point is, though, that I – no kind of computer expert – fixed my computer by myself, but DC Hospital, supposedly computer experts, couldn’t or wouldn’t. Either DC is incompetent, or they tried to play me for a sucker. I won’t be going there again.
