Lovely dentist even with the limited office hours. The staff that work there are all so nice as well. My mom works in the same office building and that’s how I knew about him. I had another dentist/orthdontist before but I found the office to be rushed and sloppy so I was looking for a change when my orthdontic work ended. Glad to have found him!

For years my sister had been telling me to switch dentists’ and move to hers in Port Coquitlam. She has referred more than a handful of people to Dr. Chu and I never really budged until mine retired… and I’m soo glad he did. I made an appointment over the phone a few months ago and came in for an intro appointment soon after. Took some x-rays and oral exams during my first session. Dr. Chu is the nicest guy! Super fun guy that doesn’t make going to the dentist terrible at all. I came in again for a regular clean-up and the dental hygienist was a dream! She was so thorough with her work and really took her time on my teeth. She probably took about 45 minutes to an hour? Different from my past dental hygienist at my old place when 30 minutes was all that was needed and all that I was used to. The receptionist is awesome too. My dental coverage only allows me to do scaling every 9 months, but she configured a way so I can go again at 6 months and do other work that I’m eligible for under coverage and really maximize my benefits. My past dental office never reached out to me in this way. The hours are kind of limited — I think they’re open 7 – 4 on weekdays? I don’t know, but that doesn’t matter to me as I work flexible work hours. Loads of parking too! It’s in the Westwood Plaza — with HSBC, Michael’s, TD Canada Trust, etc, so there’s lots of parking. Solid five stars for this team.
