Be prepared to get shortchanged. Make sure to always count your money. Their staff work together and a bunch of scammers. They will always side with their employees and not the customers. Plus the staff have big egos and arrogant. I was looking for gravel one time, one staff directed me outside but it was not there. When I asked me to bring me to the right location, he told me «go look around yourself». I actually had to be firm to him and said«NO! You show me.» Fking lazy self entitled staffs. Won’t be back again. Screw you Reno!

A lot of the employees have a huge attitude problem. It’s like they don’t want to help anyone. That’s if you’re lucky enough to find someone. There’s never anyone available to help or willing to help. The only good thing about this store is the discount that they offer every once in a while on everything.

I spent a ton of money here in the summer of 2011 during a renovation, only because I didn’t realize there was another option just across the highway, Home Depot.(Check out this review: ) Now, I only visit this Reno-Depot when I can’t find what I need anywhere else. I mean NOWHERE… I go to Home Depot first, then Canadian Tire on the Trans Canada in Kirkland, then Wal-Mart, then Rona in St. Laurent and ONLY if I still haven’t found something, I’ll try Reno Depot. The prices are more expensive on 9 out of 10 items(trust me, I’ve checked), the returns are a hassle, especially compared to Home Depot, you have to keep track of every bill(which is tricky when you’re there a few times a week) and try getting service in the aisles. Reno Depot is cutting hours and cutting staff. The competition is hiring. And today, my experience in the paint section was amateur hour. Their website doesn’t have any items or prices, and try calling the store to ask a question about a product — impossible to reach anyone! The phone system is designed to not allow you to reach anyone! By design! Sorry Reno, you’re going the wrong way, and your lack of customer focus means you just don’t get it. And if you don’t get it, you don’t get my business. Bye.
