Fundomondo

Debating between 1 and 2 stars, I have opted for 2 because, although it was a below-​average experience, it was not offensive.
The equipment is old, the place is not clean enough for a child’s playground, and the staff didn’t care at all. At the cash, we stood there staring at her for about 45 seconds before she acknowledged our presence. Later, I noticed she was spending her time playing games on the computer. Can’t help but wonder if the delay when we arrived was because she had to finish a level. Yikes.
I like to look for the positives and there were very few. The small children’s area has a little tikes style slide (uh, every one of my neighbours have one, so we don’t need to go to Fundomondo for that) and there is one module that looks like it has a lot more space than what is actually usable. Other than that, lots of coloured vinyl pads lying around. My wife and I just wanted to sit in the corner and let our daughter play independently for a while, but she was bored after 2 turns on the slide.
She wanted to go on the bigger module, but it was unsafe for her, given the high heights that she could fall if left unsupervised in there. And it was unsafe for adults to be in there with their kids, as the spaces were small. Hey — it’s not designed for adults.
I agree with the previous poster about the comparison to McDonald’s play parks. We often go to a McD’s with only one big slide, but my child loves it; she can climb on her own, the plastic inside is appropriate to the use, and I know that it’s safe.
We will not be back to Fundomondo unless major upgrades are made to the equipment, the environment, and the staffing. I would have no problem paying their prices if the equipment was engaging, the environment was clean, and the staff paid attention. At the moment, it is extremely overpriced for what they offer. Poor.

An old module, my 3 and 5 year old got bored after 30 minutes… Dusty and dirty on the outside of the modules … over priced for what the kids get… and for age of the place… Needs an update !!! The kids would have as much fun if not more at the McDonalds in lachine without paying a 25 $ entery fee for 2 kids…
A kids just got hurt … And the staff did not move… Very very sad!!!
