History
Established in 2000.
The Hopcott Farm was purchased in 1932 by Fred and Jane Hopcott. For 25 years it was a dairy farm but in 1957 the dairy herd was sold and the Hopcotts started raising beef cattle. Gradually over the years the farm diversified converting 70 acres of corn fields into cranberry bogs in 1996. In the year 2000 a new property across the road was purchased and Meadows Maze was opened. In 2006 the Hopcott Family opened Hopcott Premium Meats, a full service butcher shop located right on the farm. The Hopcott family are passionate about food and farming. We welcome you to visit us at Hopcott Meats to enjoy a selection of fresh local products or at Meaodows Maze to enjoy a day of family fun on the farm.
