Hit & Miss. Completely depends on day or night. I wasn’t going to review as it really is like two different places, but a recent experience made me want to. Day Staff are great! Attentive, composed, well trained, comfortable with the public. Coffee tastes great. Washroom and Dining Area are clean. The night shift, however, is atrocious! Coffee is usually burnt. Rather than removing older bake items and having them unavailable(which would be totally acceptable on a night shift), they would rather sell you older stale items. Not harmful, but worth mentioning for a laugh is one of the staff members is the most annoying drive thru person I’ve ever experienced. During an order of 2 coffees she will literally say thank you FOURTIMES, in the most annoying, condescending tone, in parts of, the conversation that don’t make the slightest sense… Its weird. Then when you get to the window, even though you’re all about the same age, and in your 20s, she will then call you SIR/MA’AM2 – 3 times during that interaction! WTH? The other two on the other hand are harmful to the reputation of the establishment. They sound like you couldn’t be annoying them more to be at the box/window. One of the annoyed older ladies even turns her head away from you as she blindly passes the coffees out the window. The other night we went through, our usual order comes to $ 4.20, we gave her a $ 5 bill and a quarter. She gave us a nickle and slammed the window shut, bent down and was(it looked like) tying her shoes or something… We tried tapping the window to get her attention, to no avail. Eventually she popped back up, opening the door and treating us like the next customers. We explained what happened, she turned to the register without a word, punched a few buttons, looked at a piece of paper and said«I have 4.25» … To which we repeated what happened«No, we gave you a five dollar bill and a quarter, you still owe a dollar». She clicked her tongue and rolled her eyes before giving us the dollar without another word and slamming the door again! What a peach!

Timmy’s, what can you say. This one had a good selection of donuts, unlike other Timmy stores that forgot to bake the donuts and therefore have empty shelves. Didn’t have my favourite, caramel-filled apple fritter. So I had the plain one. Actually my favourite used to be the Duchy, but they have discontinued my favourite donut. They hate me. Good points: — fairly pleasant service — tables were clean even though it was busy. — the coffee tasted excellent, where usually I find it rather blah. — add a star for serving me my coffee in a china mug and my donut on a real plate. Two less items to go into the landfill and pollute our world. Bad: — the ladies washroom needs to be a lot cleaner. — maybe not fair to mention this now, but a few months ago I went in and there were flies all over the donuts. When I mentioned it, the supervisor said«Yeah, we have lots of flies in here…» At least there were no flies today and I didn’t see the supervisor with the crappy attitude.
