William Tissert Salon & Spa

Love, love, love this place! William and his staff are fantastic! Great atmosphere, super talented, and there’s really not much more to say about it. From the incredibly clean shop to the top notch equipment, the extra touches like lattes and shoulder massages, it’s all just icing on the cake of a perfect cut and color and makes the 2-​hour drive from Crystal Beach totally worth it. Highly recommended.

So, I’m from Virginia and was in town visiting relatives in Scarborough for Christmas. I wanted to get massages for my wife, sister-​in-​law, and mother-​in-​law and had no idea where to take them. I found tons of spas in downtown Toronto using Google, but wanted to find something closer. Saw the sign for this place as I was driving along Kingston and decided to drop in. Oh how lucky I was! I was greeted right away by the owner (William) and I booked 3 appointments. Sis-​in-​law and wife opted for facials instead of massages. They raved about the service and have been looking for a place exactly like this (superior quality of the procedure and extractions)! In the DC area, we’ve had no luck… Every spa/​salon we’ve tried only performed minor extractions (not worth the price of the facial).
My wife also decided to get a haircut while she was waiting for her facial. She told me that she got one of the best haircuts she’s ever received! She said William was awesome and now her hair has more volume and the style is better suited to her hair’s natural curliness. My brother-​in-​law and I were so impressed that we both decided to get haircuts as well. Our stylist, Karelia, was A-​W-​E-​S-​O-​M-​E! Started off with a relaxing scalp massage and then got one of THE BEST haircuts in my 38 years of life! I have a stubborn cowlick that she addressed and she even trimmed my caveman eyebrows LOL. Seriously though, now i’m pissed because I have yet to find a place like this in my area. Great positive energy from the owner and all the employees of this establishment. I’m really glad that I randomly walked into this place! Oh, and we’re bringing my father-​in-​law here tomorrow as well :)
