History

Established in 2009.

Donna G, the owner and founder of The Pearl, has been a lifelong massage therapy enthusiast.

Yet, over the years she never found a memorable while affordable place to get a good massage.

Most chiropractic and physio clinics offer affordable massages, yet their atmosphere and setting were sorely lacking. Often the therapy rooms were cold, sterile, small and cramped.

True, there are a number of great spas out there that offer massage therapy. However, the client would have to pay through the nose to obtain any sense of luxury.

As such, Donna wanted to create an upscale massage therapy spa, that offered luxury trappings at clinic prices. Why not make luxury both accessible and affordable?

With Donna’s input, Lux Design of Toronto professionally designed the layout, décor, colour palette, and finishes of The Pearl. The result is something truly extraordinary.

Since 2009, The Pearl has garnered rave reviews and attracted clients from across Pickering, Durham and the GTA.

Business Owner

Donna is the owner and founder of The Pearl.

She is a graduate of Ryerson University and has over a decade of experience as a Project Accountant for a major Toronto developer.

Donna somehow finds time to manage The Pearl while raising three young children.
