Stephens Small Engine Sales & Service

Stephens is small store from the outside, but has lot of small engine yard machines packed inside. They sell Honda mostly. I bought a small generator.
The young guy was very helpful, and was also helpful to other customers. He advice seemed very knowledgable and down-​to-​earth if you don’t mind the occasional swearing! (What do you expect this place is staffed by grease-​monkeys)
I was shown all parts of the generator, warranty was sent in for me. The box was thrown away. He even started it outside to make sure it works and show me how to use it. You can’t this kind of service at Canadian Tire or Home Depot. We had a good talk about types of gas and oil to use, all my questions were answered by someone who knows small engines!
Their prices were competitive.
I noticed some excellent Oregon Gator mulching lawn mower blades. Those are awesome for mulching mowers… had I known about this store it would have saved me ordering from Amazon.
I am really glad I found this place. I will be going back to look at a snow blower. Also if I have any problem with any engine I now have a mechanic.
I am only rating 4 stars because:
1) they need to have web site.
2) prices need to be posted so you can browse
3) they need to do better marketing
4) you have to have some idea of what you area looking for, it’s a not a the ideal place to just browse
