My husband brought in my car a couple weeks ago for an oil change and the value was good — they often put out coupons.
When my husband brought my car in, my windshield washer fluid was running low, but their ad advertised that they top up your fluids and rotate your tires as part of the oil change.
A few days after the oil change, I found the windshield fluid was barely coming out, but I figured it was the extreme cold freezing it, so I left it.
A week or so later, I was driving on the highway in harsh conditions and desperately needed to wipe my windshield only to discover I had absolutely no fluid! It was scary driving on the highway and having no visibility. If I had known the company wouldn’t complete all their services, I would have taken care of it myself.
My husband called the place back and shared the experience and how their ad promised to top up all the fluids. The manager was not that apologetic and said to «give them the benefit of the doubt», that I’ve probably used it all or it was «probably frozen».
Obviously the manager doesn’t understand customer service… It took me several months in this winter weather to go through a full tank of windshield fluid and yet he tried to convince us I would have used it all in 1 ½ weeks.
For the low cost of the fluid, you’d need think he’d accommodate our inconvenience.
Also, my husband had asked them to fix my front right signal light since it wasn’t working. The mechanic said the bulb wasn’t burnt out and said probably a bump has knocked it loose. He didn’t even fix it even though we made the request instead he sent us away with a non-​working signal, and it’s still not working to this day.
Won’t be giving them our business again!
