This was exactly what I was looking for. Good family owned fresh Greek food. I’m staying in Peterborough for the week and I’ll be back this week to try something else. Being from California we don’t have a lot of options for Greek food so when I’m traveling I’m always on the hunt.

Wow. First time visiting after living in Peterborough for most of my life. What a treat! This is a cozy spot where you can expect to be treated as a guest, not a customer. There were several guests that were clearly ‘regulars’ and it seemed like a ‘family’ experience to see them interact with the staff. Loved this!
Our server (George) made fantastic recommendations for each course and the wines. Everything we ate was phenomenal and made from scratch. (Tapenades, 2 varieties of Greek salad, Moussaka and Lamb).
Portions were very generous and we both brought food home!

After driving by this place for years we finally decided to stop by and give it a try. The wine list was impressive, but my partner nor I drink, so we stuck with the menu.
We both had the pork souvlaki and it was delicious!
You can tell they spiced the meat by hand with fresh herbs and oils.
The salad was almost perfect: the feta cheese needed a little salt to bring out the flavour.
Our server was very attentive and service was quick. The food was hot, delicious, and we had to take some home.
I often bring Astoria from the Danforth back to my wife in Ptbo when I’m in Toronto on business, but this might be the end of that expensive dinner date.

This was a great Greek restaurant. I had the chicken souvlaki and it was terrific, it came with a large Greek salad that was very good. The meal came with potatoes, rice and vegetables (as pretty much standard) they were all great. For desert there was baklava that the cook makes fresh, it was really, really good. Also they had a 2 for 1 deal for some desserts. I loved this restaurant; it’s a bit pricey but totally worth it.
