Great dinner, Awesome service, Wonderful restaurant. Perfectly cooked meal. Our drinks were exactly what we wanted. Our steaks were great, you could cut them with your fork. Wait staff were attentive but not to overly. It was a very nice meal. 5⁄5!

The Keg used to be my favourite place that could grill a steak even better than we could at home. We used to love treating ourselves out to a dinner there but the last few times(is it just this franchise?) the steak was tasteless, the fries were no better than Swiss Chalet(tough and taste like chemicals) and to pay over $ 100 for a dinner for two is madness. Will not be returning to Ptbo The Keg. Hopefully the keg mansion in Toronto is still good.

I’ve been here twice each time the steaks came out just like I ordered. Hopefully they keep up this level of service.

Being a sales rep I am on the road a lot, usually by myself. I have always felt a little self conscious about eating alone in restaurants. But I was welcomed in and it felt less awkward. The meal was reasonably priced and the food is always amazing. I had the 8oz strip loin at $ 25 it was definitely worth what I paid. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

First time visit to this location. Reservation time of 5:30, were in our seats as soon as we arrived, no waiting. Server’s name was Kim D. Very friendly & helpful. Service was timely & fresh. Steaks cooked to perfection. Side dishes were delicious. Billy Miner Pie for desert was all that Kim said it would be. Excellent atmosphere, very fresh & clean. Fine dining & great value. Would not hesitate to recommend this location of The Keg.

Tried all the steakhouses. Simply put they have the best steaks and the best prices! Great service, great atmosphere, healthy… hmmm maybe unhealthy portions. Never disappointed. Just wish they opened earlier. Oh, and no need to spend a fortune on wine, their house wine is perfect!

Arrived after a long exhausting drive from Toronto. Service was fast and pleasant. Food was exactly what I needed before heading off to the hotel.

By far one of the nicest restaurants in Peterborough. Décor is lovely. Setting is intimate. Quiet and quaint. Food is 10 on 10. Every dish is delicious. Desert was incredible. Clearly worth the higher prices. My only complaint is that the server kept saying«cheers». In fact I counted him saying it a total of 14 times throughout the meal. It’s the equivalent to using«lol» in every sentence and we all know how annoying«lol» is. I’m hoping for a «cheers» free meal next time.

Very nice dinner but you pay for it. Prime Rib was perfect and my wife’s steak was just as good. A few errors made but server was very nice and fixed them up quickly.

I was excited to go home to the Patch and take my Mom to the«new» Keg for Mothers Day. There were four of us. Had the earliest available but late 7:30 seating so it is possible the servers and kitchen were tired but definitely not busy at that point. We were seated promptly in a great corner booth and the server was there right away. Water flowed well and I was surprised when they brought us one tiny little sour dough loaf as I am used to more bread but maybe that has changed in the two years since I have been to another Keg. Server came back at the right time to ask for our orders and all was good. Ordered three steaks and a chicken/rib combo. Two of our salads came with no dressing(correction: they came with bbq sauce and not vinagrette) and it took about five minutes to get that fixed. My steak was ordered rare-medium-rare and arrived medium verging on well. It’s Mothers Day and I am not going to say anything. About five minutes later my glass of wine arrived. I noticed my brother was not eating and he asked for it to go. On the way out he showed his chicken to me and it was tiny. Not because it started out that way but it was a shrunken little brick compared to what I am used to from other Kegs(or Swiss Chalet or any other place). Overcooking seems to be pretty common at this location. I was sad. I hadn’t been to a Keg in a bit but I used to be a regular. I have eaten there dozens of times in Etobicoke, the Mansion, Jarvis, Ottawa, Thunder Bay, etc. just in this province and many times in others. This was by far the worst food I have had. I truly hope they improve.
