History

Established in 1992.

Pammett’s Flowers originally began in 1956. Amy Van Gerven purchased the business in 2014. We are lucky to be located right downtown at 208 Charlotte St. which provides us with large display areas, coolers, work area and space for storage.

It also gave us a great street exposure, allowing for beautiful window displays, on one of the busiest streets in Peterborough. Pammett’s Flowers employs 3 full time designers, 1 professional administrator, as well as 2 part time designers and 1 full time delivery driver.

We are recognized for our contemporary designs, specialty funeral work, and outstanding wedding bouquets and centrepieces. We have the widest selection of tropical plants to help decorate with your home or office.

Business Owner

Amy has been in the floral industry most of her life, starting out as part time bucket cleaner in high school to attending floral design school in Toronto, working at various flower shops in Toronto and Lindsay before moving to Peterborough and purchasing Pammett’s Flowers.

With a degree in Photography and Business as well as a Certified Event planner, owning her own shop was an natural progression. With a great staff and amazing customers, it is a pleasure to come to work each day.
