* Complete freshness failure * This café was supposed to open at 9am. Got there around 9:05 and it was dark inside with no sign of life. No breakfast for us! But we were hungry so we waited around a bit. Around 9:15 or so a young guy(perhaps a student on summer break) strolled up with a plate carrying four English muffin breakfast sandwiches. He opened the door, and then said, «What would you like?» As we looked over the cabinet with all of the baked goods which clearly were from days past with the exception of the four new English muffin sandwiches, we decided it wasn’t a good idea to eat breakfast here. On the bright side, the café is located in a beautiful spot perched on the side of a hill overlooking the water. Here is an outside shot of the café building with the nice background: But I am not a fan of stale bakery products from a previous day being offered as fresh!
