Pete has been Djing and organizing parties around the world for over twenty years.

Pete lived in Vancouver before moving to Pemberton. Pete’s business in Vancouver was weddings and corporate events and private parties. Now under the new name Pemberton DJ which started in 2014.

The DJ

Pete Cronin has always loved music.

Pete learned to play the drums at the early age of 5 and played in many bands while growing up in New Zealand. Pete started a local drum academy in his home town and taught drums for 10 years.

His first DJ gig was when he was 14 years old for a local school dance.

With an interest in traveling, Pete moved to London England. This was where he bought his first set of Technics 1200s and started to play live at local venues. After living in London, he moved to Dublin Ireland and started a weekly club Night with guest Djs.

While living in Vancouver, he played at many different types of events. Boat parties, gallery openings, corporate events, private parties and weddings.

Pete has played gigs in the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, France, Lithuania, Thailand and Canada.

Now residing in the Pemberton Valley, Pete’s musicial tastes are being influenced by the magicial surroundings.

His eclectic taste in music is vast. Early Jazz, Blues, Funk, Soul, Disco
