Glossy Nails

Absolutely awful. We have had two bad experiences here. Stupid of us for returning. First time they cut my mom’s cuticle badly — she pointed it out, but they didn’t care, said it would be fine. Today, I asked if they had time for a quick pedicure — I didn’t even need polish. They said yes, provided it was quick. I was in the chair all of about 18 minutes and they charged me full pedicure price ($ 40) — they said that it didn’t matter that I got no polish (although they wouldn’t have had time to do polish even if I had wanted it). They didn’t do any massage, they were rough and my pedicure was painful at times. When I said I thought it was unfair for them to charge me full price, they told me to go somewhere else in the future. You bet I will. And I will be telling all my friends not to go here.

I have been to Glossy Nails before and really enjoyed my experience, this time not so much. We arrived for our 12:00pm appointment and our service did not start till 12:30pm because the employees were running behind. Than my esthetician Margaret escorted me to my massage chair which ended up being broken. When we are about to get our appointment started there was lots of neglect to me as the customer. Every time the phone rang, she would answer it, she was writing appointments down in her book, she was running around every 5 minutes to do something else. Than she would come back file my nails but make sure to watch tv at the same time and than go away again. By this time my water was freezing and I was starting to get annoyed and it is now 1:00. I have been very neglected as the guest and my appointment has barley begun. Once she started the pedicure it was rushed and unpleasant because Margarets next guest has now arrived and is waiting. It is now 2:00 and I have finally been helped but very unimpressed with my service as this is a tradition that my mom and I do every year together and this time we were unhappy while being there and felt like we had our time wasted. I would not recommend this Salon to anyone who is looking for a relaxing efficient experience.

The best. If you came from the USA and you are missing your favorite Vietnamese nail salon, then this is the place. Not quite as cheap as us salons but a far cry from what you pay in any of the local spas or resorts. You will not be disappointed. Most times you can get a walk in, but make an appointment to make sure you get in.
