We are a vegetarian/​vegan café with a social theme. We serve excellent, home made, affordable sandwiches, salads and soups. Our brown rice (and more!) bread is a favourite — all our bread is made in-​house.

Illy coffee, Shanti tea, and a meeting place for everyone.

History

Established in 2015.

We are a mother/​son combination: Rivka is the dreamer, midwife, creator, and Giacomo is the chef extraordinaire. We have created a space where all can gather: office workers from the nearby loft spaces, families, hipsters, mothers and babies, doulas…

Mon nom est Rivka, et je suis passionné de la naissance et de la justice. J’aime être avec mes amis, et je tiens à créer des espaces confortables. J’ai rénové et vécu dans une tour médiévale en Italie, j’ai de plus rénové une ferme en pierre, une maison et une grange d’un berger en pierre, un bungalow de 1950… tous ces endroits ont été accueillant et chaleureux pour mes amis et la famille.

My name is Rivka, and I am passionate about birth and justice. I love to be with my friends, and I like to create comfortable spaces. I have renovated and lived in a medieval tower in Italy, a stone farmhouse, a restored stone shepherd’s house and barn, a lovely 1950’s bungalow… all of these places were inviting and warm for my friends and family.
