The convenience of this location to my work has always kept me a frequent customer. They do have delicious soups and sandwiches, however this food truck is not for the picky eater or someone with dietary restrictions. They fail to list the ingredients in their«trailer made dressing» and their«vegetarian option» contained anchovies. I don’t know about them, but I consider fish an animal. That being said I have also noticed their turkey and chicken options frequently having bacon on them, also not ideal for anyone kosher or halal. Definitely a bummer to discover this. This would be okay if they were more open to substitutions, however anytime I have requested this have been responded with negative attitudes. I actually heard someone order a sandwich without tomato, and the person working rudely replied«and I suppose you want your noodle soup without noodles too?! « All in all, great food, but be wary of ingredients.

GOEARLY! They are literally ALWAYS sold out. The food truly is fresh each day and tastes amazing! I get it, they sell each days batches and then that’s it for the day. It may be worth it to call ahead or check their Facebook page for updates later in the day before making the trek! I would be interested to know if they use fresh and local produce in the warmer months?

Omg! If you haven’t tried their soups you need to stop everything and go there right now. The ‘wiches are super good too, but their desserts — just fabulous! The chocolate cake is the best ever and the crème brûlée, let’s just say I’m addicted. Monique & Craig are SONICE, always smiling and know all of their customers by name.

Very good sandwich. Chicken was seasoned very well and the mayo and lettuce were excellent. Quite a treat.

This place makes the best soup and sandwiches around. Craig and Monique are always serving you with a smile all while cooking up some creative combinations. I’m not a huge soup fan but I still upgrade to a larger size soup … they are that good! I’m personally a big fan of their chicken sandwiches. Only downside is that you have to show up early on nice days or the best sandwiches are all gone. Desserts seem to sell out almost every day but they usually whip up an alternative when this happens.

Stopped by for lunch the other day! I had the Sandwich Special with ham, goat cheese, and a bunch of other goodness, and I split it with my darling friend Liz, who ordered the Chicken Sandwich, which had a cranberry compote and other delicious goodies. To be honest I much prefered the Chicken — I found the ham to be really fatty. We each got a soup with the meal. I had the Creamy cauliflower, it was creamy and had a great texture, but something in the seasoning wasn’t to my liking, but I polished it off anyway! Liz had the black bean and ham soup, which I got to sample, it was wonderful, though the ham again was too fatty for my liking. I will be back! The whole menu looked wonderful!

Awesome — when the Chef comes out of the food truck to ask everybody how their meals are you know they care about the food and the customer experience! Great spot to grab a fresh and delicious meal in Stittsville — soups and sandwiches are all great :) Lots of open area for eating your lunch there — with tables and chairs provided. Check it out for sure if you are in the area!

I love this trailer! I’ve been eating here, twice a week or more, for most of the summer. It has become my favourite lunch spot. The sandwiches never disappoint and the soups are unbelievable. Chef Craig and Chef Monique are two of the nicest people you can meet. Best tip: always upsize your soup to a cup or bowl! It’s too good to only have the little dipper size.

Well my wife found this place on a Facebook group. She has mentioned it before how people were raving about this food truck. When she told me it was called ‘wiches Cauldron I was thinking Witches. When we got there I realized it was a sandwich place. I was excited, I love sandwiches, especially different types of recipes and topping. Well this place had a great deli sandwich the trucker. Check out my pic! The sandwich came a small cup of your choice of soup. Today they had 3 cheese broccoli and a red pepper chicken soup, I took the broccoli and was excellent. I spoke with the chef Craig Beaudry and he said they change the menu for the sandwich every two weeks. Soup is usually daily. I believe there were 4 or 5 kinds. My wife had the vegetarian but added chicken, chefs recommendation, she was pleased. My sons shared a grilled cheese and ham. They ate it all and wanted some of mine. I am so happy there are finally places like this in Ottawa.
