Mama: I should preface this by saying that I am truly spoiled by Indian buffets in Toronto — which are super well-priced and offer an amazing selection. The Sunday lunch buffet was oddly meat dominated(pretty weird for an Indian buffet!)! There were three meat options(butter chicken, curry beef and curry goat) and two veg options(channa– chickpeas and curry potatoes). I ended up asking if they had any other veg options and the waiter brought out saag paneer. To be honest, I didn’t find the food overly flavourful — thank goodness for achar — there’s is exceptional! However, the service was AMAZING! Water glasses were always full and they brought fresh naan and puri to the table! I’d be back because the service, with hopes of better food selection! AndTheBoy: I’d give a 4. Not enough options but the service is amazing. Butter chicken was amazing and they had puris! I wish the gulab jamun was hot

Dropped by here over the weekend for dinner, Solid food done well. Service was great too. We ordered the samosa chaat, chicken korma, panee tikka masala and some garlic naan. The chicken was beautifully spiced, and everything was well balanced. The naan was enormous too which was a plus! Décor was very chic and cute inside. The servers were extremely friendly, very attentive, and helpful. I came with a lover of Indian food and he left a happy camper. We went for dinner and it was definitely quieter, but was nice atmosphere for chats. Also apparently everyone goes for the lunch buffet? Definitely going to check it out at some point! :)

Family owned, friendly stuff, nicely decorated. Food was very good, little too spicy to my taste, not their fault. The only reason I cannot give them 5 stars is that they alter curry lamb and curry beef. As I love both of them but cannot have both for lunch.

The first thing you notice is that you don’t smell food cooking when you enter. That’s because it’s cooked elsewhere: in the homes of those who cook for the restaurant. And they cook like Gretzky skates. The food has layers of taste within each bite and I was there for a post wedding celebration, so the food was served smörgåsbord style, which usually means it is cold and rubbery – it was delicious. Ironically, I didn’t see tandoori chicken, but the food they did serve was excellent, and I speak as the husband of an Indian woman who actually can make a hockey puck taste wonderful. I highly recommend this place.

After eating in almost 9 Indian restaurants in Ottawa downtown and around, and finding very little goodness on taste, we descended on Tandoori Fusion with hopes that this place might salvage the taste buds, and boy! It did. Small but neat and nicely done interiors, the restaurant trumps all when it comes to authentic taste in the area. Boy! The butter chicken did have the buttery aroma, with okra and dal perfect in taste. Tandoori chicken in the starters was done a little differently but was appealing to the taste buds, so were the pakoras. Tandoori roti neatly baked and cut. And missus loved the achar so much so that she wanted to pack some. All in all a great good bye to Ottawa, a filled belly. PS: could have done a better job with the veg biryani, little less kevda and little more oil and spice would help.

Best Indian food in town. Always fresh ingredients and amazing depth of complex flavours in every dish. The naan is to die for and shouldn’t be missed. The service is attentive and friendly. The décor is chic fusion yet comfortable. Great place to drop into for some real comfort food.

Do not drive too fast because you might miss it. Tandoori Fusion is a colourful little gem in an otherwise monochrome palette of restaurants in Kanata. The array of dishes offered in the buffet is not overwhelming in quantity but compensates with the quality of its offerings, its freshness and overall flavour. The naan bread is fantastic and offered at no extra cost. It is just a wonderful little suburbanite treasure, unfortunately located, hidden away next to a gaudy McD’s. It’s small, family owned, you can taste the love in the cooking and the attentive service will warrant several visits.

The best Indian buffet I have eaten at. The food is absolutely delicious and mouth watering. The lunch buffet price is incredibly cheap for the quality of the food you get. The service is above average and the waiters are always ready to fill your glass of water up when you need it. The atmosphere is fair and for a small location, it is definitely above average. It is clean and does have a nice upscale feeling to it. Overall, I would recommend this location to a friend without a doubt.

I was passing through Kanata on a Saturday lunch time and saw the sign by the road so pulled in to the McDonalds parking lot. I got out of the car, but could not see the restaurant until I noticed an Indian family walking towards the far corner(at the opposite end of the strip-mall from the«adult» store). The owner said business was quiet as it was Saturday, but if I wanted food she would prepare something for me. The first thing I noticed about the restaurant interior was the décor — it was actually stylish, even if it is a little boudoirish for some. Nonetheless, it was tasteful. I got myself a chicken kadai, chana masala and puri meal. The food was really good, with lots of depth, flavour and variety — definitely not your fast-food type of restaurant where they have bland sauces simmering away in the back. I could taste the chicken stock of the sauce, the fresh coriander, ginger, cumin, tomatoes, garlic and others I cannot remember. The owner told me she wanted to raise awareness of Pakistani food, and its differences from the various Indian restaurants throughout Ottawa. If you want a tasty meal in a pleasant environment at a very reasonable price(my meal was around $ 13) go visit.

I stopped here for a late dinner(~8pm) and thoroughly enjoyed the food, ambiance and service. I gave 4 out of 5 stars only because the Papadams were slightly oily/greasy. Then again, they were fresh. :) The appetizer(chickpeas in yogurt) and main course(chicken kebab) were both delicious, as was the naan. Highly recommend and reasonably priced as well.

There aren’t a lot of places in Bells Corners that are REALLY good — but this is one of them! Great family owned spot tucked away behind the McDonald’s and Rexall — funky modern décor that is a nice change for a small independent restaurant. If you want to try a new place for Brunch you should come here — they started serving a buffet brunch and we really enjoyed it! I need to head back here for a dinner with a group one night so we can sample the larger menu… I should get planning that! 14⁄30

Ummmm. Can’t believe no reviews on this place, the curry beef was thee most tender and nicely spiced I have had in a long time. We stopped in for an early lunch, and they were offering a weekend brunch buffet with traditional Indian breakfast — i was alittle nervous, not a fan of buffets We had curried chick peas, curried potatos, and a curried beef dish… sesnational, fresh, super spicy — but not hot. The interior was very sharp, they have been open for a year — mom was in the kitchen with one of the sons serving and the other working the til… i’m sure dad was around somewhere. Mom even came to our table when i was asking a few questions on what cut of beef they used. definatley will be back… btw, prices were very reasonable.
