Suzie’s Little Red Wagon

Yum! One of my favourite places to go when I just need a poutine. I haven’t tried anything else on the menu, but their poutine is amazing. Lots of cheese curds, flavourful gravy that’s not too thick and not too thin, fries are delicious. Portions are generous! And the ladies are always friendly and accommodating. I normally don’t eat much at once but here, my husband and I can go through a large easy and still want more — not because there’s not enough but because it’s so good!

I don’t get the opportunity to make it back to Canada. When I do, my inner poutine loving spirit comes out. I was on my way over to Pro-​life Hockey and spotted this place on the side of the road.
As is true with most food truck/​Fry Trucks, the menu had the basics such as fries, hot dogs, poutine, etc.
I was there in the middle of the afternoon on a cold day. They made some fresh fries (double fried of course). St. Albert cheese curds with a beef based gravy and a sign proclaiming Fresh Cut Fries.
I did like that they took their time in making it. I would rather wait 4 – 5 minutes for good tasting food than for someone to rush it.
