Bank Street, in the Glebe, is being rebuilt this year to replace water and sewer pipes that are 100 years old, and a deteriorating road. Construction has been ongoing since May and there’s a perimeter construction fence for safety that does not encourage pedestrian or vehicular traffic. Not too good for local businesses. We stumbled into this Subway on a very dead Labour Day evening. Super-​clean, everything fresh and the nicest and most charming service ever.
