Great location. It’s clean and modern inside with a bunch of tables, including a larger one for work. There are enough outlets for electronics too. The chocolate chip cookies were excellent as was the regular coffee.

As Jaimie said — yes, it’s a Starbucks. Made to be a cookie cutter version of every other Starbucks so we can feel safe and familiar. However, this is probably my favourite in the city as well, haha! Located right underneath a friend’s condo, it’s super convenient for me. It’s shiny and fairly new and I like the layout. It has a bit more of an industrial air than some other Starbucks, and as Jaimie mentioned, the ceilings are high and open — lovely. The armchairs are separate from the working area so if you want to get work done you don’t have too many chatty people around. Also love that the bar stools look out onto Bank Street — so great for people watching! The staff here are lovely(as with most Starbucks) and they always do a great job with my order. This is definitely one of my fave spots to get work done(and waste time watching the interesting people on Bank!).

So, I know it’s kind of silly to pick a favourite Starbucks — the company was virtually built to be blandly indistinguishable — but this one’s the best of the five or so I frequent regularly. Bright, big, open, high exposed ceilings, and just so clean and new. And I’m not sure of it’s just the newness factor, but they seem to have free samples every time I go in.
