We are an organization that deals with home décor. A major portion of our store helps decorate windows and reupholster furniture. We also offer services to custom design drapes and bedding, HUGE selection of quilting fabrics and supplies, custom and ready made throw pillows, upholstery supplies and fabrics, home consultations, window check measure (s) for custom drapes, hardware installation, and much more!

Come visit our store and have a look at all the beautiful fabrics in stock as well as endless selection of fabric samples and books that can be checked out and brought home to determine if a fabric works for your project (s). All of the fabrics in these books can be ordered into the store (minimum of ONE yard/​36″).

History

Established in 1974.

Rockland Textiles began in Rockland, Ontario as a diaper business as well as a offering a small amount of discount fabrics. As more customers picking up their diapers bought the fabrics, the discount fabric business took over and the company was moved to Ottawa. As the years went by, gradually the business focused on quilting fabrics and notions as well as home décor fabrics for drapery and upholstery with off-​site sewing workrooms. Sewing notions, rod hardware, upholstery tools and supplies foam supplies were added to round out a full range of textiles. To this was added a large rod hardware section, trims, and notions and tie backs. The recent 2012 sale of the business added an on-​site upholstery and sewing workroom able to turn out a full range of home decorating items.
