The first thought running through my mind was perhaps this could very well be the next Gem that Ottawa has been missing. Another major factor in helping me finally decide to visit One Stop was their Facebook page. It seems to present itself well as there were quite a few people who posted to the page saying they had enjoyed their meal and will be back for sure; unfortunately I cannot say the same. After ordering two roti meals, one for my girlfriend, I quickly drove home and unloaded the two roti, plantains and tiny cups of salad onto some plates. Still excited that we finally found a caribbean place right down the street, we bit into our chicken roti wraps; only to find random chicken bones all throughout the roti!

My husband ordered two small Jerk Chicken dinners from here yesterday. First of all the small was very filling neither I nor my husband could finish it, you get two pieces of chicken, rice with beans, a salad, and two fried plantain slices. The salad gets soggy in all the heat from the container, but I wasn’t too concerned with that. The star was the chicken, it was moist, well spiced, and had a definite kick to it. This is the best jerk chicken I have had in the city thus far. We will definitely be going back to try some other meals.
