My fiancé and I planned a family get together on a Sunday afternoon at 4pm there was about 30 of us the service lacked from the start and just went downhill in my opinion everyone pretty much ordered all you can eat ribs so it wasn’t anything crazy bit the service was so slow try getting a refill on drink didn’t happen then we went to pay are bill and the debit and gift card machine were down and we had to wait around 40 minutes for it to be fixed just not a great overall experience

Love this place! The staff are fantastic and the food is just as good! Their interesting cocktails are so much fun and if you look closely, actual staff have contributed to their creation! Their anjitoes are my absolute favorite! I don’t go anywhere else but Montana’s for them and this location by far is the best I’ve been to! Also, while Centrum itself is confusing to navigate, Montana’s has a really nice and big parking lot! Very helpful!

BF had a coupon for«2 can dine for 19.99 $» last weekend so we went for dinner at this location on a Friday night around 6pm. The parking is horrible, it was completely full. I don’t know if it’s because there’s so many restaurants in that one single parking area but be prepared. We parked closer to Wal-Mart where there was barely anyone and just walked to Montana’s. The restaurant was busy but we were seated in a booth right away. The waitress was friendly, we showed her our coupon ahead of time and she explained we can only choose from burgers and sandwiches, which was fine. I ordered the Waffle Chicken Club Sandwich with fries. The fries were bad, I usually am a big fan of fries and but these were bad, I ate about 3 and left the rest there. The star was the Waffle chicken sandwich. A-MA-ZING!!! I never thought I would like a restaurant chain sandwich so much in my life!!! The chicken is fried perfectly! There is bacon, tomato, lettuce and mayo. But also Honey BBQ sauce that is DEVINE! And the waffles!!! Sweet, soft and crispy waffles instead of regular bun! So so sooo good! I would return and pay regular price for this sandwich, but would probably try a different side instead of fries.

The Chorizo Poutine is amazing! Montana is a Texas themed steak house. We’re put up across the parking lot at the Holiday Inn and have popped in a couple times. Both times having the Chorizo Poutine and it was great. The first time we had the everything sampler for two and it was quite nice and enjoyable. The second time we both had burgers and they were just alight. Nothing fancy, but surely not bad either. The place is clean, light wood interior and nicely polished. If you’re a drinker, it looks like they probably have your brew, many to chose from. The staff was very friendly and polite both times we were there. The prices are a bit on the uptick side, $ 60 both times for dinner and pop. Even with the 1:1.2 conversion rate from the US, this is a bit high. I’m sure we’ll be back for the Poutine at least once more before we leave.

Oh Montana’s… You chain restaurants never impress or disappoint. The food was good(poutine w/side caesar salad) and came quickly, though nothing really stood out. The server was nice, but didn’t fill up our waters once the entire time. In this area there are multiple North American chains, so take your pick, Montana’s included.

Very busy night and great service from Jordan! The chicken with sundried tomatoes was recommended by Matt and I was not disappointed! Veggies were nicely steamed, large portions of tender tasty chicken with marvelous rice side. And the Mile High Pie is amazing! Will be getting that again and again and … Thanks for making this a fun night out– will definitely be back!

I have to say that I’ve never really had a bad experience with Montana’s, and this location continues the tradition. Staff is always friendly, and the food has always tastes good. I’d like to see some variety in the menu between, similar to what Moxies and Milestones have where the chef can add«specials» to there menus, but this is a comment on Montana’s, not the locations

New Years Eve we went to Montana, s in Kanata. Ontario, The service was great but the steak was dry and not very tasty. We have been there many times. This is the first time that we had a bad meal. I think we will give them another try.

It’s a chain but does what it does well. Food, as ever is good for the price. Family friendly and the paper table cloth and crayons make the wait fun. I’m the family looser at tic tac toe. Service is reliable, attentive and bubbly. Never had a bad order and they are responsive to requests. Disabled access is ok but there are more booths than tables so ring ahead and make sure you explain your requirements.

Food is above average and service was fine. I prefer Montana’s to the other places nearby(Jack Astor’s, Crazy Horse, etc).

I have been here on two or three separate occasions, as it’s conveniently located centrally to where I work and stay. The food is quite enjoyable, but the service is somewhat lacking. I have written in other reviews for some places that I find it amusing the female servers wear the short micro mini shorts, it is not going to make me increase my tip towards them in the least. If I wanted to see that, I know where the establishments are for that, and even if I didn’t, I could look them up online easily enough. There aren’t an abundance of TV’s as some of the other bars and restaurants in the area have, their unique«draw» is the western attire, and I am quite confident in my testament that women in the 19th Century Wild West did not wear shorts and wide open flannel shirts like the women that work in the restaurant wear. But another topic for another day… I would most likely be back for the steak that was a personal favorite, but let’s leave something to the imagination ladies!

Montana’s is a huge chain so you know it’s not going to be over the top food. It is very middle of the road as far as quality but the place is clean and the service is pretty good. We hit Montana’s while on vacation, twice actually. It is not somewhere I would typically frequent but an okay place to go for a quick snack and drink. The day we visited it was sweltering hot out and the air inside was great. I would have gone in just for the A/C that day. We had a nice cold glass of wine and I had their chicken tacos. Nothing was said on he menu about them being spicy. I could barely eat them they were sooooo hot. Would I go back? Maybe for a drink but that’s it.

Good food, the menu is limited, They removed the Smokehouse wrap, i’m limited to certain things. Service is usually hit or miss. The Merivile location is terrible service, Kanata is better, their burgers are good, the goat cheese pasta are really the only 2 things i get.

A freezing cold night, and the traffic jam caused by the Oilers/Sens out letting traffic, brought us to seek a bite to eat within the shopping centre area around Montana’s. We must have tried no less than 4 other restaurants before stopping in at Montana’s. It’s not a knock against Montana’s, we just were trying to enjoy something we wouldn’t have a chance to back home in Halifax. There was a wait, but luckily they do allow you to sit at the bar. This is where I first discovered the delicious concoction of Mid-afternoon Pink Lemonade… DELICIOUS… had two before we got to sit down. The service was great, especially seeing as the place was jam packed. Order the full beef brisket sandwich. It was chuck-a-block with delicious meat, just dripping with flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed each and every bite. The fries were a little undercooked, but nothing to shake a fist at. We departed into the frigid February night with a full belly of great food.

Went on a Saturday, it was quiet and not busy. Our appetizers could have come a few minutes earlier they were quite tasty even though serving size was small. The drinks were reasonably priced. We ordered steaks both well done. Mine was perfectly done my girlfriends was a bit on the dry side but thats the risk you take ordering well done. The serving size of the meals more than made up for the size of the appetizer, so much so that I had a skewer of four shrimp a bit of steak and some potatoes left to carry home. The utensils had some water spots here and there as well.

Like another Unilocaled said, service was horrible. Restaurant by no means was busy yet our food took what felt like 30 mins to arrive. No cutlery so I had to find the hostess near by to ask for cutlery, and ketchup. Ordered a coffee but had no sugar or a spoon to stir. Had to chase down the server for that as well. Since getting our food and our entire time no one checked up on us for a refill or to see if we needed anything else. Our server for the record was Hillary. In contrast, Hillary was quite quick to collect our money. Food was ok. I had the NY Steak sandwich with fries. I feel like I could have gotten more fries as a lot of the white plate was still visible. My rating is weighted towards the service I got this visit. I will be fair in saying that I have come here in another occasion for the express lunch and the service was way better. One should consider the incentive to serve promptly given the 15 mins or it’s free. Manager is to blame as he’s supposed to be on top of things.

Service was slow and awkward. Food was cooked ok and tasted good but it was also a little slow. If I’m in the mood for the cookhouse again, I’ll pick another location nearby.
