Michaels

If you’re a crafter, Michael’s is a sort of haven. My best friend’s a knitter and so I often accompany her on her quest for the perfect colour and texture of yarn, so I often find myself here.
Located right near the massive Ikea, and beside Terra20, this Michael’s is a decent size, but not as big as some of their other locations. This store always seems to be bursting with merchandise, but it’s not usually messy or hard to find things.
There’s a ton of selection here, and chances are if you can’t find it at Michael’s, you should probably order it online (like our sad trip when we tried to find lipgloss tubes to no avail). There’s aisles of knitting stuff, tons of art materials and lots of things for DIYers like beads, felt, glitter and god knows what else. There’s also a decent scrapbooking section and even some printed artwork.
This is a great spot to come for inspiration and also if you’re looking for something specific. Pro tip? They often have 40−50% off coupons online and in their flyers.
