Lorenzo’s Pizzeria

This is one of my favorite Pizza joints in the city. They just finished a renovation that cleaned up the look of the place. I think there is a few Lorenzos locations in the city but I find the pizza at this one superior to the others.
I haven’t tried anything on the menu but the pizza, it’s been my goto for years here, so keep that in mind with the 5 stars. They used to have a phenomenal half price Pizza deal but it has recently ended, they do have a deal on pizza on Mondays. No matter, the pies are so good it’s worth it at full price.
This is a nice light fluffy crust Pizza with an adequate amount of toppings and the perfect amount of cheese. The bacon they use is crumbled.
This is our goto place to grab a quick dinner before hitting up the cineplex across the street.

and on the app it said free delivery but when we got our order we were charged 2 $ for delivery. The food was cold as well. Not a pleasant dinner I must say the least.

We were looking for something quick and light before going to the movies across the street (the Colliseum). It was a Monday, so it was fairly quiet in here. This restaurant is like a local sports bar, with a TV showing the pregame for the new football season. Interestingly enough, the game was 3 hours away, and the pregame was already on. It’s gonna be a long haul!
I asked the waitress what the special was for that night, and it turned out to be wings. Hubster loves pizza, so his order was a no-​brainer. I got a small side salad with a garlic dressing. The salad was ok. The wings were not great — they’re fried and not a lot of meat on them. Hubster’s pizza was actually pretty good. Looks like I ordered the wrong thing.
It was so quiet in here, that the one and only waitress, who also served at the bar, sat there reading! At one point we looked up to see both the waitress and the chef reading things on their hand-​held devices!
Overall, the ambiance and service of this restaurant will not call me back.

Great pizza!
½ price eat in is quite a deal. I think it’s on every day.
