So I’m noticing this craaaaazy trend with Ottawa pizzerias! There are a *lot* of pizza places, and a lot of pizza places purporting to have the BESTPIZZAINOTTAWAHONEST, but… not a lot of *good* pizza places. See, this is relevant! This is relevant because sweetie and I ordered from here and it was a nightmare from start to finish. We ordered a «Canadian pizza»(pepperoni, bacon, and mushrooms) without the mushrooms(woooo allergies) off their website, because the price wasn’t *terrible* and there was free soda. Simple, right? Well… –Our order took an hour to get here(and we live like 5 minutes’ drive off.) –There was *no* soda, and with delivery charges and tax the price of this one pizza had ballooned out to thirty dollars. –Guess what was on our pizza? If your guess was ‘mushrooms,’ yooooou would be right. When sweetie calls the pizza place, we’re told that the free soda with delivery orders thing only applies when you call it in because ??? and that they’ll send us another pizza and some soda but they need a few slices for«evidence.»(ofc when we actually tried to give the deliveryperson some to take back they were just kind of baffled so welp) In the end, the new pizza was edible but way overpriced and had a weird aftertaste and they didn’t actually ask us what kind of soda we wanted so lwe just ended up with a bunch of nondiet pepsi(ick).

Solid, classic pizza. Not some artisanal hipster concoction; rather, traditional construction with round crust and generous cheese. Delivery orders get free pops, so make sure you ask for the kind you want — they don’t always mention it and you’ll end up with Pepsi as the default.
