LCBO

So this is probably the best LCBO within walking distance for me. When I first went to this location I remember being unimpressed. The store was clean, but the stock was disappointing. The wine selection has always been impressive, but the beer and spirits were lacking. I could not even get a decent bottle of scotch here. Maybe it had to do with the fact that it is a smaller store. I don’t know.
However, I don’t know what changed, but they have drastically improved their stock. They have a wider variety of beer and ciders. The selection of vodka, rum, bourbon, and whisky is now pretty impressive for a smaller store. You’ll definitely find better LCBOs elsewhere. But like I said, if you live in this area and don’t want to walk to the Rideau or Isabella location, you’ll be pretty happy with this place. …Just don’t expect the super rare stuff here.
