Surprisingly large selection for a small LCBO and friendly staff. Was pleasantly surprised by the Vintages(snooty wine) and single malt(snooty scotch) sections — usually found only in bigger stores. Also, finding the new(free) Food & Drink magazine in stock made me happy. A small parking lot and parking on both sides of the road on this relatively non-busy stretch of Bank in the Glebe. I’m new to the neighbourhood but my landlord says that the Wine Rack down the block stays open late every night if you miss the LCBO.

This is a considerably small LCBO, which is odd since it’s the only liquor store on Bank Street in downtown Ottawa. They have a better than basic selection of everything you’re looking for. If you want to buy flowers for your special someone, there’s often a flower girl waiting outside. If you want a better selection, especially of wine and beer, take the extra trip to the LCBO down the street and to the east on Pretoria.
