(NOTE that this business has multiple locations, and I will be duplicating this review to other locations that I’ve attended) Alright alright, let’s clear the air first: Yes, tanning is a terrible thing to do. Insert remarks about vanity and skin cancer risks here. Yadda yadda. But it feeeeellls sooo gooood and looks great. So with that out of the way, if you plan on tanning in this city, this is where you want to go. They have multiple locations in the city and your membership will work in any one of them. Fantastic new and premium beds(this isn’t like tanning in Ottawa ten years ago…). Great service. Extremely clean and well maintained. Doesn’t really get much better than this. Enjoy the vitamin D.

While the written cancellation was not explained to me when I signed up, and I continued to get charged for two months following the three months I had signed up for(for which I was understandably upset) I came to an agreement with the manager that I could reactivate and get those two months I had unknowingly paid for at another time. Will update this review when and if that happens.

I have a confession to make. I did, at one point in my life, enjoying going tanning. I know, I know, it is bad for you, it causes cancer etc, but it just feels so darn good. That being said, I don’t go that much anymore but when I do, I typically go to iTan Studios. This location is convenient for people living downtown, and when I was in university, I would stop in on my way home from campus. I never made an appointment, and never had to wait more then 10 minutes for a bed. The girls at iTan are always really nice, and knowledgable about their beds, as well as their various products(bronzers, moisturizers etc). That being said, they are shrewd sales experts, so be careful! You just might be sucked into one of their«amazing» deals and wind up paying 40 dollars a month for tanning. Make sure you assess your tanning needs and budget before you go in. The beds are always very clean and there are towels and places for you to hang your belongings while you go for your tan. Their beds range in levels of intensity, and they also offer spray tanning. iTan provides you with goggles if you don’t have your own and even a mint after you’re done. Pretty good place for a fake and bake as far as tanning salons go!
