David Hollingsworth is a personal injury lawyer in Ottawa, working with Goldberg Stroud LLP, a well established law firm for the past 50 years. For over 10 years, David and his team have been dedicated to helping people throughout Ontario who have suffered a serious injury and families who have lost a loved one through the negligence of others-wrongful death. We never represent insurance companies.
Throughout the years, David has successfully represented many clients who have been severely injured due to motor vehicle accidents either as passengers or drivers; due to a car accident; a motorcycle accident, a bicycle accident, or pedestrians, slip and falls, and historical sexual assault (sexual abuse). David regularly keeps himself up to date on developing legal, medical and rehabilitation issues by working closely with medical doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, other treating health practitioners and the support network involved with his clients.

Business Owner
Born and raised in Ottawa, David has developed strong ties in this community. Most of his business comes from referrals from other lawyers, medical professionals and previous clients. David is happily married to an educator, who works with the Public School Board with whom he has three wonderful children. He is a coach in a local minor hockey and soccer league. He is also with Reach Canada, an organization that helps people with disabilities.
David is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers’ Association, the Advocates’ Society, the Ottawa Valley Brain Injury Association, and the County of Carleton Law Association. David is on the executive of the REACH education committee.
David regularly acts as a guest instructor at the University of Ottawa faculty of law, teaching the trial advocacy course to third year law students: future lawyers learning practical advocacy skills.
