I really, really love this store. If I had oodles of money, I would buy everything in it! The owner, Leanne, is a total sweetheart and takes a lot of pride in the merchandise they sell. It’s the perfect store to score some really personalized and high quality gifts for the upcoming holidays, and frankly, it’s just stunning to look at. You should probably give yourself some time in here to soak everything in. Each shelf and display surface is meticulously merchandised and perfect. There’s currently a beautiful Christmas tree set up and several shelves of great Christmas décor and gifts(including a great Candiana shelf with Maple Syrup candles — so cute!), and little dogs so lifelike I wanted to pet them. The store goes on to house numerous gift ideas, some of my favourites being the canvas printed signs with sweet sayings and quotes, the awesome jewelry selection(my favourites are the cuffs with sayings printed on them — so pretty!), handcrafted towels and adorable handmade clutches, wallets and phone holders. As mentioned, Leanne knows every inch of her store and is ready to help you find whatever you need, but she doesn’t breathe down your neck either which I appreciate. Ask her about a certain item and she’ll certainly be able to tell you where it came from and why she chose to bring it to her store. Yes, this place is pricey compared to say, Stokes or another home/giftware store, but you’re getting original products that are Canadian made. There’s some stuff that’s priced to shock, but there’s plenty that’s affordable. If you’re in search of that perfect personalized gift for Christmas, a housewarming or birthday you should pop in. You’ll leave with a smile, and I’m betting, at least one or two items.

Cute cute cute! While continuing our trek(or more like saunter) down Richmond Rd, Andrea B and I popped into Dream Weaver for some good olé fashioned perusing. And this place has plenty to peruse! You’ll find oodles of locally sourced goodies in this lovely shop — housewares, handbags, luxury bath products, baby gear(with super cute Mexx teas and sweatshirts), teas, coffee, snacks and on and on. The owner is quite friendly and more than happy to help you find the perfect gifty item for a friend or yourself. I was particularly impressed by the vibrant selection of throw pillow and bright home goods. If you’re out and about in the area, definitely stop in at Dream Weaver — I dare you not to walk out with something.
