The rudest receptionist. If she can’t answer your question she hangs up on the customer.

Went to Colore while visiting in Ottawa based on Unilocal reviews. I had a shellac manicure and pedicure. The salon is clean and has nice massage chairs for pedicures. The pedicure was better than I expected with a nice calf and foot massage and a cool salt scrub that I haven’t had at other places before. The shellac manicure was done well and carefully. The only thing I think could be added would be a quick application of some hand lotion at the end! The lady who did my nails was friendly but not talkative. Overall the two services would have cost $ 50 if I paid cash(I only had debit so it came to $ 56.50). Very reasonable especially as I thought the quality was quite good!

I’ve been a regular here since they opened for both eyebrow waxes and pedicures. While it’s a bonus that their prices are very reasonable, I go because I get excellent service there. I used to go to other places and pay significantly more for hit and miss services.

love this place… the ladies work hard and will take you at the last minute if they have room. Prices are great and the results excellent. Had a pedicure and shellac nails… Spent $ 89 at Saab Spa for them to last a week. Colore was 30 with tip and they lasted 2 weeks(I picked).

How I wish this nail salon was closer to my house. I had my shellac nails done here and I LOVEIT! The best part of this: it only cost me 20 $. For those that want to get their nails done here, I strongly recommend that you book an appointment. The staff is minimal depending on what you want to do. And for those taking the bus, get ready to walk unless you wanna wait for the 16. I walked from Tunney’s Pasture station to the salon. So for me, I’m only going to come here during the summer unless I get a ride there. So far, I would recommend this place to my friends.

I returned to Colore last week, anxious to get another proper shellac application at what I thought was Ottawa’s best. I’m sad to report the second visit was nothing like the first. The nail tech I got couldn’t be bothered to get the previous polish all off my nail bed(said she didn’t want to scrape too hard), didn’t even touch my cuticles and put on one too many coats of polish. I asked for a pedicure on arrival and she completely forgot but by the time I saw her work on my nails I decided I better pass on the pedi and walked out super unhappy. I can’t even complain anymore cause I’m off to Toronto, but for my Ottawa ladies(and our metrosexy men), you now know what the deal is. Good luck in your search, sadly it does not stop here!

I got my eyebrows waxed here and they look fantastic. The price was very reasonable as well, in fact the best I’ve seen in the area by far($ 10). I went back again, this time for nails(Shelak manicure). I had an appointment, but there was a little bit of a wait since it was right after work. While I didn’t get the full manicure treatment, everything else was great, and my nails look wonderful. They do a $ 25 shelak manicure(better than $ 45 for the same thing further down the street!), but they charge $ 15 to take it off — or they wave that fee if you go back to get a new colour. I would absolutely recommend this place! p. s. pay cash!
