The pros: — Beautiful, wide open rooms with plenty of space for any event. — Adjustable lighting in a variety of colours — Lots of natural outdoor light in the rooms The cons — Located in an industrial park — no proximity to hotels, coffee shops, restaurants, or other amenities — They misspelt CENTRE — No clear labelling of where to enter the building, which rooms are which, where the office is, etc. — No elevator to the top floor, which may be needed for any guests with disabilities

Centurion Conference and Event Centre is a fabulous banquet hall, ready to host a variety of events and accommodate groups of up to 800 people. Newly renovated(there was a fire here that left a significant amount of damage to the property) this venue is stunning. There are a number of halls with high ceilings, boardrooms with top of the line A. V equipment and gorgeous bathrooms that are almost nicer than the event rooms! While the venue is a little bit far away, there is a massive parking lot and it is relatively easy to find. Regardless of the kind of event you are hosting(wedding, conference, gala etc), Centurion and their helpful staff will help you find exactly what you are looking for. They have tables and linens, chairs and stages, podiums and speakers — basically all of the materials one needs to have access to in order to host a successful event. The staff is absolutely fabulous. They are willing to work with their clients to come up with logistically sound floor plans and feasible décor designs. While there are occasional«additional costs»,(such as a higher fee for linens that are not the standard black), the staff is entirely upfront about it and will work within your budget. The in house catering is more than adequate. The food is far above the standard«banquet food» and the menu is diverse enough to accommodate any kind of event. The staff will gladly work with you in order to come up with palate-approved menus consistent and practical for your event. The on-site banquet manager could not be more helpful. He and his staff are there to help, and often nip problems in the bud well before attendees could possibly notice them. The Conference Centre also has a lunch restaurant«Bistro». This is a favourite lunch spot of many business employees in the area, as it is perfect for business lunches and brunches. The food is standard, tastes good and is very much«what you see is what you get». Working with banquet halls can often be «sketchy»; with unattentive staff and a plethora of hidden costs. Centurion is quite the opposite, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to have a stress free-large scale event. They have in-house planners who are happy to meet with you and give you a tour of their facilities, and who will be there every step of the way during your planning & execution process.
