This is a very cool store. It’s not like other souvenir shops in the area and has a wide variety of higher quality items. I also take my friends and family from out of town there. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for at least.

This store is one massive piece of real estate, right there in downtown Ottawa! The shop is absolutely huge! Great place to shop for gifts, be it for local or for someone far away, such as yourself, perhaps, as a souvenir. Large window displays of their wares, and the store is crammed with things to look at. Be prepared to be wowed by their offerings, many of which are beautiful! They sell some typical touristic gifts, but other things, too, and they have a very large variety! You can get real fur mittens here, Indian Art, candles, such a variety of things that there are too many to list here. It’s a great place to go if you are shopping for gifts for that hard to buy for person, and especially if you have time to browse. They have also been here for many many years. The building is historic.

I knew it was a good sign when I walked in with Neil Young’s classic ‘Heart of Gold’ playing in the store’s modern jukebox. That song, along with the ones that followed, are indicative of the Canadiana of Four Corners, a refreshing arts and crafts store located on Ottawa’s pedestrian Sparks street. The items inside literally are from Canada’s four corners; a lot of handmade native aboriginal crafts, as well as crystal’s and tasteful creations. There are also the standard souvenir items you would expect to see. There’s an elevator that leads to a second floor that was closed on this day, but this was an interesting place nonetheless. Very Canadian, no doubt.
