Calabogie Peaks Resort

3.5 stars for this wonderful 2^nd annual event at the beautiful Calabogie Peaks Resort. It just keeps getting better and better — if feedback from other attendees who also attended last year, is anything to go by! Tons of great music, camping out in this gorgeous weather, fabulous improved washrooms, the introduction of showers (although only cold water!) and the ribs that smell ohhh so good! There are a variety of vendors as well.
Will definitely put this event on the agenda again for next year! Well done, to DAWG FM and all the companies who made this event a reality, and thanks to Calabogie Peaks for opening their doors to us.

UPDATE 2013: Still a great event — would give it a full 4 stars this year for improvements made. organization of the event was a tad better. Washrooms were still a disaster because 4 of the 8 stalls in the ladies room were out of order! Lineups out the door. :-(
However, for this 3^rd event, the food for volunteers was better organized, and they were more proactive in doling out water for this very hot day! The ticket booth was moved closer to the front, and there was a smoother flow of people. They were jam packed this year — Saturday night was Colin James! Can’t wait to hear the count.
Had company this year to volunteer with; we liked it so well that we are talking about coming back next year and staying for the full event instead of just for 1 day. Awesome event!
