Cafe Deluxe

A little hidden delight in the busy downtown core where there are so many restaurant choices. Adventured here for lunch with a colleague and so enjoyed my meal-​I think I’ve been back once a week since.
The specials are always amazing-​something very authentic about some of the Mexican dishes that are often the special of the day-​always delish and never disappoint.
My weakness there is the cleverly placed entourage of fresh baked cookies-​right at the cashier-​very smart and very hard to pass up-​skor shortbread you are a wicked little cookie!
It’s quick-​healthy choices available every day along with the sinful stuff if you so desire. Tables are few but rotate quickly so I’ve not usually had an issue when I want to eat in. See you soon my friends!

I almost don’t want to write a review because I want to keep thus place secret! not that it’s not already popular with the dt ottawa business crowed.
this little café is amazing. across from my work and also where we get our catering from. someone bought me a cookie one day and it was fresh out of the oven… now that was exceptional. short bread with skor I beleive. I also love their chicken salad sandwiches on white bread (the freshest softest bread I’ve ever consumed) or on their homemade baguettes. everything is delish and homemade.

Great place to get a quick breakfast. The service is quick, the coffee hot and fresh and the staff friendly. I was staying next door and came here every morning for breakfast because it was a great deal.
