Came here for breakfast with my other half. Our server was Mikaela. She was a doll with a beautiful smile and offered excellent customer service. The only drawback for me was the fact that only ham and sausage are on the menu for breakfast which is something I cannot eat. It would have been a nice alternative to have Turkey sausage offered however, it was not. That alone would keep me from coming here again however having said that, the food was delicious, the coffee kept coming and the fact that we had such an excellent server… made our breakfast a good one.

Service is average. Sometimes you get a grumpy waitress. But most are nice. I usually go for breakfast. Lately they have been cutting back on their portions and raising the price. So for that I give 3 stars. It seems like they are counting the home fries they give out nowadays. They switched to smaller sized eggs as well But when they get it right it tastes pretty good

We were there for breakfast on the weekend. The service was good. The food was OK you get a good heaping for your money. My biggest issue was having all the Montréal Canadiens flags and paraphernalia covering almost ever wall and ceiling. I guess it cool if your a Habs fan but this is Ottawa so I’ll just head up the road for breakfast from now on for the same price and food.

Great breakfast, especially their hash browns. I don’t go for anything other than breakfast so I don’t know much about their food options.

Dropped into the Broadway for dinner and game while spending the night next door at the Travelodge Hotel. I was hungry and my expectations were low, however, obviously not low enough. The food was inedible… literally. The chili was a dry mess of crumbled beef and the beans a cheese had the distinct texture of polymer. My co-worker had the chicken wrap and it too was drier than a mid-summer Death Valley river bed. Somehow though, amongst this arid landscape of food, they somehow managed to serve soggy frozen fries. Sad, to say the least. Whoever works the kitchen has no shame. The manager, if there is one, obviously has never eaten here. I can’t remember ever being served anything this pathetic ever. Anywhere. Co-worker had a nicely poured Guiness and an ample supply of televisions to view the game made the experience at least tolerable.

Broadway is good for large portion sizes and fair prices for that amount of food. Unfortunately service is hit and miss. Décor is average considering the bar and grill feel they’re going for.

This has become my default location for a cheap greasy breakfast when I know I don’t have it in me to wait in line after a night out! For $ 6.50 you get 2 eggs, home fries, toast, a choice of bacon, sausage or ham and a coffee! Every place cooks eggs alright but not everywhere cooks bacon well. The bacon is cooked well here. It’s always crispy but not burned. A lot of breakfast places I’ve been to have this sad wilted bacon that’s been cooked on the grill but seem to sit in to much oil so by the time it gets to your table it’s soggy and not crispy anymore. Their home fries seem like a deep fried potato vs pan fried and aren’t bad. They also have some other crazy breakfast specials for $ 10-$ 12 that have way to much food for anyone’s own good that involves something similar to the above meal, with all the meats and pancakes! The service is always fast and the staff has always been great.
