We love the Thai noodle boxes. They are fresh, with yummy flavours. Friendly, and a great place to stop for a quick bite in Westboro.

Just had lunch at their new digs, the most ridiculously cute atmosphere with the even better food — I went for the ho chi menh??? Sandwich. Basically pork tenderloin, bean sprouts, cucumber, cilantro, and a peanut sauce. Fantastic… I will Bite That thank u very much!

Okay, let’s get some of the details out of the way first. Location: Bite This is located ar the corner of Clifton and Richmond Road(across from the Loblaws Superstore). They used to be located on Scott Street but they moved in November 2012. Parking: You can park on the north side of Richmond Road as well as Clifton so you should be able to find parking. Seating: Bite This has a fairly large site for a food truck taking up the corner of Clifton and Richmond Road. There is a fair amount of seating here in an almost garden atmosphere so you wont have to take your food and run if you don’t want to. Service: Service is pretty efficient with one person taking orders and two people cooking the food on demand. While line ups seem to start before noon, when I was there on my second visit(after 1pm), I still got my food waiting about 10 after ordering it. Value: This is my fourth food truck review and Bite This to date has the best value as the most expensive dish is about $ 8(Thai One On) while their sandwiches are mainly $ 7 each. As most of the new food trucks range about $ 12, you can definitely eat cheaper here than the other places I’ve tried. Food: And for me, here’s the downside with this otherwise exceptional place. On my first visit, I ordered the Thai One On and I have to say, I was not a fan. There was a tangy taste to it that just didn’t sit right for me. Maybe they use ketchup in their mix(and I’m not a fan of Pad Thai made with ketchup) or it is something else but I was disappointed with my dish. Since this place had such good reviews though, I thought I would try them again before writing a review so I went back and tried their curry chicken sandwich and their marrakech sandwich(yes, two sandwiches, but I was hungry that day :-)). Unfortunately, both left we wanting in the flavour department. Despite everything being cooked fresh and despite the interesting list of ingredients, I didn’t find anything overly tasteful. In fact, I find they have a tendency to put a bit too much hot sauce on things(even if you don’t ask for it). All in all, I was disappointed and because I have tried three different dishes, I don’t think I would go back as it just wasn’t ‘special’ enough. Outside of the food, everything about the place is great and it is quite popular. It just comes down to your taste buds if you will like it or not and for me, it was a ‘not’. That’s why I’m giving them three stars.

I LOVE Thai food. and I love food trucks… this was the best of both worlds… except I don’t think it’s much of a truck anymore, as it is stationary amazingness, without wheels… haha I got Thai One On, which is basically pad thai with their flair. Absolutely delicious. I ate everything, every last peanut flake, noodle, and bean sprout, I stuffed myself so full, and I would have eaten a second if I had one infront of me at the time… or now… yummm I tried to lick the container it was so tasty. I’ll have to go back a few times, and try everything on their menu. While I was there, a young boy(maybe 13), came to order lunch, the girls serving laughed and said«Back again?» when he walked up to the counter, haha… Super great people working in the truck, very quick service and it was painted so nicely, mon!

Great example of what a food truck/trailer should be! They have an eclectic mix of fresh, flavourful and delicious food — which I love. From the two noddle dishes(served in the fun chinese take out boxes) to the various sandwiches and burgers I have now almost tried everything on the menu once and can honestly say its all ah-mazing! I also commend them for having more then just regular canned cola as drinks. The one big thing to getting there is that they are currently only open for lunch(till about 3-ish). that being said the other day when we were there the owner was saying that they are opening a restaurant across from Loblaws — so SUPER excited for that grand opening!
